Refunds & Cancellation

Effective date: July 7, 2026

Free trial first

Every new account starts with a free trial (currently 14 days) with full access and no payment method required, so you can decide whether Longview is useful before paying anything.

Canceling your subscription

You can cancel any time from the in-app billing portal (Upgrade & Billing → Manage billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep full access until that date, and you are not charged again after it. Your saved plans are preserved, so if you resubscribe later you pick up where you left off.

Refunds

Because billing is monthly and cancellation stops future charges while preserving access you've already paid for, we do not prorate or refund partial months as a matter of course. If you believe you were charged in error — for example a charge after you canceled, or a duplicate charge — contact us and we will make it right.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we notify you and keep your access open for a short grace period (currently 7 days) while Stripe retries the charge. If payment still hasn't succeeded when the grace period ends, access is paused until the payment method is updated. Nothing is deleted.
